After President Barack Obama bombs Syria, and before that Afghanistan, and Pakistan, and Yemen, and Somalia, and Libya, and Iraq – whether by fighter jets and giant bombers, or by warships and missiles from land-based, or through armed flying robots – maybe it’s time the Prize Committee in Oslo meet and discuss the introduction of a number of conditions for granting the award. Something similar to drug testing for athletes to make sure they won the title honestly, or alternatively, the Committee can discuss and consider changing the meaning of the term peace.
